A few cryptic phrases in a notebook and a bullet found among his grandfather's belongings in Paris after his death, lead 17-year old Robert on an intriguing quest. Curiosity leads him to a small village in the French Alps and to the truth behind the owner of the notebook, one Robert Macy. During his search he discovers that the grandfather of the girl he has fallen in love with murdered Robert Macy, because Macy was a Jew. Robert needs to decide whether to tell her the truth or leave the past undisturbed...
